The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration, Romania, with the technical assistance of Civitta Strategy & Consulting S.A., produced several thematic reports to support PA3 policy development on the following themes:

  • Diagnosis of Tourism and Culture sectors in EUSDR countries and regions. Tourism and Culture were among the hardest hit by the pandemic, being marked by dropping revenues, financial risk, reduced wage earnings and lay-offs in these fields;
  • Consultation report on measures for increasing the resilience of Culture and Tourism. The report indicates possible recovery measures to support building a more sustainable and resilient Tourism and Culture labour market sector and to stimulate opportunities for job creating;
  • Tools and list of indicators for measuring territorial development through Culture and Tourism. This deliverable includes a comprehensive overview of data evidence for policymakers to make informed decisions in the fields of Culture and Tourism;
  • Mapping sources of financing in support of activities in the fields of Culture, Tourism and People to People contacts. The results of this analysis can be used as input for understanding financing priorities and gaps/bottlenecks to be addressed while putting PA3 into action;
  • Defining a roadmap for embedding PA3 into funding opportunities of the EU Programmes and identifying mature projects in the field of Culture, Tourism and People-to-People contacts, and building a common agenda for the coordinators of PA3, the Steering Group members and relevant stakeholders
