New forms of cultural manifestation, awareness raising workshops, art exhibition, involving youth is part of the CLOSE project – two events
VISION:
The events planned to take place within the activity aim to support and demonstrate how tourism and culture can be vectors of local development and contribute to social and territorial cohesion of the regions.
OBJECTIVES:
The workshops intend to:
- continue the series of activities dedicated to the European Year of Youth (2022), organized along the banks of the river, revealing the hidden value of waste;
- help mobilization, promotion and preservation of culture and cultural heritage as powerful tools aimed at achieving social, ecological and economic objectives along the Danube;
- encourage creative problem solving by increasing the emotional involvement of the participants, through new forms of cultural manifestation, aiming to contribute to a pro-ecological vision among the participants;
- stimulate capitalizing on natural and cultural heritage as assets of local and regional development of the Territorial Agenda 2030, which provide unique opportunities for development and a high-quality living environment;
- empower young people to contribute to ecological and digital transitions, supporting innovation and competitiveness, against the backdrop of the effects of climate change;
to feed a place and purpose based community to support local efforts in making the New European Bauhaus a truly transformative process.
