On 04.04.2017 Romanian Ministry of regional development, public administration and EU funds (lead partner) signed the Subsidy contract for the implementation of project DTP-PAC1-PA3 Culture & Tourism, funded under the Danube Transnational Programme.

Project aims at ensuring the implementation of a stable and effective governance system for EUSDR Priority area 3 “To promote culture, tourism and people to people contacts”. This will be achieved by organizing Steering group meetings; PA3 events and production of studies/reports/policy papers on PA 3 targets. Project will also provide support to PACs to participate in the framework of EUSDR coordination and decision-making process.

Project partners are the two PA3 coordinators – Bulgarian Ministry of tourism and Romanian ministry of regional development, public administration and EU fund.

Total project budget is 352 941 Euro, 300 000 Euro funding from the European regional development fund and 52 941 Euro co-financing from Bulgaria and Romania. Project activities will be implemented by the end of 2019.
